Teesside University : Centuria Building

Warsett were appointed as Principal Contractor to undertake the refurbishment works in the University. The works involved creating new offices and a new reception area. The project involved demolishing existing walls and erecting stud walls to create new offices and reception area.

All walls needed to be soundproofed, insulated, fire proofed & plastered. We also carried out joinery work including fitting new doors & skirting boards to match existing finishes. All mechanical and electrical works were undertaken by Warsett including the supply of new heaters to the new offices, new lighting, alterations to power & data outlets and alterations to air conditioning & ventilation systems. New suspended ceiling systems were installed and the offices were also decorated and fitted with new flooring. Works took around 6 weeks to complete and were completed during term time.
